Sarah Hopkins reviews the Piste Merlot

Join Sarah in this review of the Bowhouse’s Piste Merlot, so named because of the extremely steep slopes of grapes growing in Picadilly, in the Adelaide Hills, in South Australia. A beautiful example of cool climate Australian Merlot, smooth and medium bodied. It has beautiful red berries flavours and matches perfectly with red meats.

The 2009 vintage was made by Dr Don Wallace, renowned winemaker, which a lot of people in the hills will recognise.
