About Amadio Wines

Since 1936, Amadio Wines has prided itself on producing premium quality wines vintage after vintage. Tradition and passion guide every step so our wine can be as brilliant as the people you share it with. National and international awards decorate our bottles but our greatest reward is seeing our wines surprise and delight.

Wines From Amadio:

2018 Sauvignon Blanc

Produced from the infamous cool climate wine region that is the Adelaide Hills, this Sauvignon Blanc delivers a full palate that is immersed with flavours of lime, green capsicum and honeydew melon. The nose displays passionate aromas of lemon blossom and intense tropical notes. Its natural high acidy from its single vineyard location balances out the fruit and strives to enrapture this sensation on the palate that refreshes and lingers with elegance.

2018 Pinot Grigio

This fresh and lively single vineyard Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio displays exceptional cool-climate characteristics with Nashi pear and lemon citrus on the nose with stunningly crisp bluestone minerality. These aromas develop into guava, green lime and hints of honey on the palate finishing with a dramatic clean and crisp finish that identifies the true meaning of balanced acidity. A perfect starter with any seafood or white pasta dish.

2017 Chardonnay

This Adelaide Hills Chardonnay shows pure essence of fresh varietal character. Harvested in the cool early hours of the morning with acidity is at its best, its structure and body give a lush creamy texture and lingering finish. Matured in light French oak for 9 months with extra time on lees has given this wine the softness and complexity on the finish. Aromas of nectarine and nashi pear are quite evident.

2017 Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir is exceptional due to the variety being grown in its widely acknowledged cool-climate, which gives it the ability to express its true character. It relishes in articulating aromas of wild strawberries, ripe red cherries and spring violets that concentrate onto the palate with hints of spice. This indulges the palate with silky tannins and a medium body that’s intense flavour sets it apart. So complex a variety, its viticulture and winemaking process is notoriously difficult, but through support and stronghold this wine represents all to be sought after in new-world Pinot.
