This is typical Clare Valley Rieslings, it sings the song of lemons and limes through pursed lips and holds the high notes beautifully.

L'Isolano means 'The Islander' and is a reference to the island of Sicily where this wine comes from. This is a blend of 3 indigenous Sicilian varieties - Inzolia (40%) Grillo (40%) and Catarratto (20%). Its aroma is delicately perfumed with underlying grapefruit & apricot. The palate exhibits stone fruits and citrus characters bound together by a tight mineral backbone.
Babo Pinot Grigio is so much better than many of the bland and neutral PGs at this price point. Extended lees contact has added depth and palate weight without compromising its minerality or the elegance of the gentle peach and citrus flavours.

This is a light and fruity wine with retained natural sweetness and plenty of tropical fruit. It has a slight fizz and lower alcohol content and is a good, inexpensive example of the moscato style which is becoming more nad more popular.
The wine has citrus, tropical and herbaceous aromas, gooseberry flavours.
