Wirra Wirra Hiding Champion Sauvignon Blanc (2010)
While the world seems a poorer place for the loss of Greg Trott, his legacy Wirra Wirra, continues to go from strength to strength. From the outside looking in this can largely put down to wine quality being produced by the team of Samantha Connew and Alexia Roberts which has never been better.
Wirra Wirra have produced another typically excellent wine here. It has aromas of lifted green passionfruit and wild gooseberry fruits abound with a subtle grassy note. On the palate there is succulent and fresh passionfruit and tropical fruits that tantalise the mouth with a refreshing acidity and structure.
