Wicks is a relatively new winery in the Adelaide Hills, started in 1999 by the Wicks family. The winery is undoubtedly state of the art but their greatest assett is experienced and talented winemaker Tim Knappstein.

Aromas of tropical fruits and a gentle herbaceous lift combine with mouth-watering freshness and crisp acidity. A classy example of Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc.

The 2009 Wicks Sauvignon Blanc recently won the consumer award at the 2009 Hyatt Advertiser Wine of the Year Award for best Sauvignon Blanc, an award they also won in 2006 and 2007 putting them firmly among the Hills best sauvignon blanc producers.
